The Summer Floral Display at UBG – Balchik is in Full Bloom

The University Botanical Garden – Balchik invites visitors to enjoy its vibrant seasonal display of foliage and summer-flowering plants, which will remain at its peak until September. The planting schemes in the formal parterres of the “Razsadnika” Garden and the Divine Garden, as well as in the Thematic Garden, feature over 72,000 plants representing 33 species and approximately 140 cultivars.

Alongside traditional cultivars preserved as living heritage in the garden, this season’s display includes newly introduced selections of Begonia × benariensis, Tagetes erecta, Coleus scutellarioides, and others, bringing additional brightness and dynamic texture to the overall composition. A highlight of the Thematic Garden is the Antirrhinum majus (snapdragon) collection, presented through 64 cultivars showcasing a rich variety of color and plant form.

The University Botanical Garden – Balchik is open to visitors daily from 08:00 to 20:00.
