JOINT EVENT FOR CHEMIST’S DAY AT UBG – BALCHIK: GAMES, SCIENCE & CREATIVITY

On May 11, 2025, the University Botanic Gardens – Balchik co-hosted a joint event to celebrate Chemist’s Day, organized in partnership with colleagues from Agropolychim. More than 600 participants of all ages took part in a variety of engaging activities that combined fun, learning, and creativity.
Teams competed in “Da Vinci’s Adventure”, a challenge packed with logic puzzles, physical tasks, and out-of-the-box thinking. Meanwhile, the game “Sensory Explosion” tested individual participants’ observation skills and senses. For the youngest visitors, UBG – Balchik prepared hands-on ecological activities including succulent planting and herbarium making.
Children proudly took their handmade creations home, while adult participants enjoyed light-hearted competitions, prizes, and the cheerful spirit of the celebration.
