“BIGPICNIC” EDUCATIONAL WORKSHOP AT UBG BALCHIK

On May 8th, 2025, another "BigPicnic" educational workshop took place in front of the Exhibition Greenhouse at the University Botanic Garden – Balchik, involving students from “Hristo Botev” Secondary School, Balchik. During the session, the children had the opportunity to engage in hands-on activities related to the cultivation of edible plant species — they planted seedlings of various vegetable crops.

The upcoming workshops will continue to introduce students to the key themes of the international "BigPicnic" initiative, such as biodiversity, sustainable agricultural practices, and the importance of conserving plant resources for future generations.
